Exploring Word 2011

Third, Word 2011 offers you a variety of styles in the Styles Guides. These guides show you the proper application of styles so that it makes it easier to modify the formatting of your document. If you are using Heading 1 style for example and a heading that uses Calibri at sixteen-point – they might look similar. But the heading can be changed by simply formatting the styles.

Finally, Office Word 2011 allows you to search your document easily. You do not need to stop during your workflow. There is a search field in the standard tool bar and every time a word, phrase or particular character you have looked up is highlighted. There is also a Word sidebar so that you can get a full view of the search results within the document. You can also look for and modify text.
